Coventry Building Society was originally known as the Coventry Permanent Economic Building Society and was founded in 1884 by a small group of local businessmen.
In the 70s and 80s it undertook a number of mergers making it one of the top five building societies in the UK with assets over £9.4 billion the Society and over 1 million customers.
The society has a vast menu of mortgage products to offer its members, these include; Buy to Let; First Time Buyers; Remortgaging.
As well as offering an online service to its customers it also has a good reputation for helping people who may ordinarily find accessing information difficult such as those with impaired vision as well as those with hearing difficulties. Access to branches for those in wheelchairs has been improved by altering branch layout where possible.
