GMAC is owned by General Motors and it also owns the financial sevices company GMAC Financial Services which is one of the largest finacial services companies in the world.
GMAC RFC is based in Bracknell, Berkshire where they employ over 700 staff. It started trading in the UK in 1998 and is now the 12th largest lender in the UK.
In 2003 it completed £4.8 billion in mortgage loans and in the past 12 months has won a variety of awards for their products and services including Best Intermediary Lender awarded to them by Your Mortgage magazine.
They have a wide range of mortgage products available however GMAC specialise in the sub prime market which means they offer mortgages for those with bad credit and the self employed market.
But because GMAC do not offer their mortgages direct to the public the only access you have to their products is through introducers like ourselves although their website can be used to view the adverse and bad credit products they have available.
