The London Mortgage Company was owned by Lehman Brothers who withdrew from the UK Bad Credit secured loan market in 2007. Subsequently Lehman Brothers declared bankruptcy in 2008.

LMC Mortgages
The London Mortgage Company started in 2001 offering secured loans. It since grew to offering First Charge residential mortgages to those with a bad or adverse credit history.
These loans and mortgages were only available via intermediaries, mortgage and financial advisors.
The London Mortgage Company was wholly owned by Lehman Brothers until 2008.
