Newbury Building Society
Mortgage Providers
Established in 1856 the Newbury Buliding Soc was previously known as the The Newbury Permanent Benefit Building & Investment Society. It has merged with a few other societies along the way renaming itself The Newbury in 1932.
Today the Building Society has total assets of just over £500 million and remains a mutual society benefiting its members.
It has a broad mortgage product base which includes offering advice on less popular products such as shared ownership to commercial products. It is also able to offer its members a wide range of savings palns that suit all ages and budgets.
The Newbury is a local building society, firmly committed to creating and maintaining close links with the communities that they serve. They give many organisations financial and some times hands-on assistance by helping them to hold events and attractions, this, believes the society, helps to keep their community thriving.
