The five-year fixed deal comes at a time when Brits are becoming increasingly concerned about the future of the housing market. The Triple Protector mortgage offers free unemployment, sickness and accident insurance, along with a rate of 4.99 per cent for the five-year term. "The fate of house prices has almost become a national obsession, with wildly conflicting views all too apparent," said Charcol spokesman Ray Boulger.
